Resolving Document Upload Errors in Encompass

Problem

When uploading documents to the eFolder in Encompass, you may encounter upload errors that prevent documents from being properly processed or viewed.

Solution

Follow these steps to resolve document upload errors:

  1. Move Documents to Left Side Shell

    • Navigate to the problematic documents in Encompass
    • Move all affected documents to the Left Side Shell
  2. Reprint Documents as PDF

    • Select the documents that were moved
    • Reprint them as new PDF files
  3. Use Print As Image Setting

    • Access the advanced printing settings
    • Check the box for "Print As Image"
    • Complete the printing process

Additional Information

This is a known issue in Encompass with an established workaround. The "Print As Image" solution has been shared with Account Managers as a standard troubleshooting method for similar document upload problems.
