Issue Description
When attempting to run a fraud report using CoreLogic LoanSafe on a closed loan file at the TPR firm, users may encounter errors that prevent the report from generating successfully.
Troubleshooting Steps
Before escalating the issue, verify the following:
Check User Access
- Ensure you have exclusive access to the loan file
- Confirm no other users are currently accessing the file
- The CoreLogic LoanSafe service requires the document to pull into the efolder and cannot be locked by another user
Test on Other Loans
- Try running fraud reports on other loan files to confirm the service is working properly
- If other reports work successfully, the issue may be file-specific
Verify Process Steps
- Click the FRAUD button on the FundLoans Summary
- Select CoreLogic LoanSafe from the available options
Resolution
If standard troubleshooting steps do not resolve the error:
- Contact LOS Support to manually pull the fraud report
- Support staff can process the report directly and make it available in the system
- The report should appear in the efolder once processed by support
Additional Notes
Loan status (such as "3rd party review that was cleared") does not typically prevent fraud report generation, but file-specific issues may still occur requiring manual intervention.
