Broker Portal Upload Synchronization Issue

Issue Description

The broker portal is experiencing synchronization problems where document uploads are not properly transferring to Encompass or displaying upload indicators.

Symptoms

  • Brokers report successful document uploads through the portal
  • No "X" indicator appears to show uploads occurred
  • Documents do not appear in the unassigned section in Encompass
  • Upload status is not being marked correctly in the system

Current Workarounds

For Account Managers

  1. Manual Portal Check: Access the broker portal directly to verify if documents were actually uploaded
  2. Direct Email Request: Ask brokers to email documents directly when portal uploads fail
  3. Proactive Communication: Contact brokers to confirm upload status since they typically don't notify staff of uploads

For Verification

  1. Check the broker portal for uploaded documents when brokers report upload issues
  2. Cross-reference portal uploads with Encompass unassigned documents
  3. Look for conditions marked for underwriter review that have no attached documents

Notes

  • This issue may be related to recent system updates to Omnia
  • Multiple files and account managers are experiencing the same problem
  • The issue affects document workflow and may require manual intervention until resolved
