Missing Loans from PHL Reports

Problem Description

Loans may not appear in PHL (loan boarding) preliminary reports and loans funded reports when run on a regular schedule, even though they have been funded.

Root Cause

PHL reports are generated based on the Interim Servicing Transfer date, not the Funded Date. Loans will only appear in reports if:

  1. The Interim Servicing Transfer date has been entered in the system
  2. The report filter includes the date on or after the Interim Servicing Transfer date
  3. The report is run after the Interim Servicing Transfer date has been entered

Report Timing Requirements

  • Loans will appear on PHL Prelim reports only if the report is run after the Interim Servicing Transfer date has been entered
  • If reports are run before the Interim Servicing Transfer date is entered, the loans will not appear
  • Weekly reports must have their filter date updated to include the appropriate date range

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Re-run reports for the entire month to locate missing loans
  2. Check Interim Servicing Transfer dates for the missing loans
  3. Verify report filter dates include the Interim Servicing Transfer date
  4. Confirm timing - ensure reports are run after the Interim Servicing Transfer date has been entered

Audit Trail Information

  • Recent auditing has been implemented for funding date changes
  • Check the Audit Trail for specific field updates to track when dates were modified
  • Historical loans may not have complete audit trail information available
